Partner Recruiting Assistant (Global Law Firm)
Partner Recruiting Assistant | AMLAW 50 | Chicago, IL Our highly recognized and leading global law firm is hiring a Partner Recruiting Assistant to work in their Chicago HQ office. The position will support the Director of Partner Recruiting and the Partner Recruiting Senior Coordinator with the firm-wide recruitment of partner candidates following established procedures and requirements. The team is open to a variety of profiles including recent college graduates with office experience or administrative/executive assistants. This position is primarily responsible for items such as data entry and interview coordination such as reserving conference rooms, sending Outlook calendar invitations, making travel arrangements, setting up video conference/AV logistics, etc. The work will primarily flow to this person from the Partner Recruiting Senior Coordinator who takes primary responsibility for configuring interview schedules that this role will execute. Responsibilities:
- Support and help facilitate the recruiting and interviewing process for partner candidates from start to finish.
- Responsible for all data entry into recruiting databases.
- Assist the Partner Recruiting Senior Coordinator facilitate partner candidate interviews with firm management and firm partners in the relevant practice groups of each office.
- Responsible for partner candidate interview logistics including but not limited to sending confirmation emails, calendaring meetings, setting up video links and/or making conference room reservations, preparation of materials and information packets to be provided to candidates prior to interviews.
- Coordinate travel and other arrangements for partner candidates as requested.
- Solicit and compile feedback from partner candidate interviews.
- Draft search firm placement fee agreements. Maintain database of such fee agreements and complete record of terms and conditions agreed to with partner recruiting agencies.
- Process expense reimbursements.
- Support the Director of Partner Recruiting and Partner Recruiting Senior Coordinator with special projects and the implementation of process improvements.
- Ability to work overtime during busy periods.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements (Required):
- An Associates Degree.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in legal law firm recruiting or other professional services organization.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Requirements (Preferred):
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience working with recruiting databases.
